Dolphin 24
The Dolphin 24 has been built by several
different builders. The first was O'Day Corporation in 1960 although the boats
were built by subcontractors. These subcontractors were Lunn Laminates, F.L.
Tripp & Sons, and J.J. Taylor & Sons.
In 1965 Yankee Yachts started to build the boat.
The first few were built from kits from O'Day. Pacific Dolphin started building
the boats in 1977.
In 1973 the design was revised for a New Zealand
builder as a fixed keel boat with a draft of 4.17 feet. The deck, house and rig
were redesigned at this time.
These boats are not related to the Angus designed
Olympic Dolphin 23.
