Steps
1. Download the 2010 PHRF NE - Handicap Application Form (PDF)
2. Open the PDF file and type your information into the form.
3. Completely fill in the form. Do not put same as last year, standard, or STD in any box.
4. Print the filled out form, and mail to your Fleet Contact along with payment. Contact your fleet contact for the appropriate fee ($20 for PHRF-NE plus whatever the fleet fee is). If you do not belong to a regular PHRF NE fleet, the fee is $25.

If you are emailing a scanned application, PLEASE SCAN ONLY IN BL:ACK AND WHITE. PDF format is preferred. Do NOT scan in BitMap or .jpg. Such documents come through unreadable. Do NOT send an application scanned in color. If scanned in color, the application becomes semi-unreadable. Also scan with a resolution of at least 200 dots per inch. Make sure the writing is legible. Do not use a fine tipped pen.
Remember, to be valid, the form has to be signed by the handicap processor, John Collins, or by his authorized representative, Anthony Prizzi.
If you are from outside the normal PHRF-NE area of Nova Scotia, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, and wish to sail in several races or regattas, and do not belong to one of the regular PHRF-NE fleets, mail the form, along with a 25 dollar check made out to PHRF-NE and mail it to: John Collins, 23 Pilgrim Road, Marblehead, MA 01945-1710 or john.collins14@comcast.net. If you are from Maine, New Hampshire or Massachusetts, except Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, and do not join through a fleet, the fee is 50 dollars.
There is now an option for secure on-line credit card payment for these fleets. The Nova Scotia members can send their form directly to John Collins and pay via the secure credit card payment option. If you are from Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts please apply and pay through your local fleets. The credit card option should not be used by you.
If you are from outside the normal PHRF-NE area, hold a valid PHRF certificate from a PHRF organization other than PHRF-NE, and wish to sail in only one race or regatta, PHRF-NE will give you a New England certificate good for that one regatta at no cost. Submit your non-PHRF-NE certificate an dthe PHRF-NE application to John Collins.
