Following the acceptance of the simplified asymmetric sail formula at the 2014 PHRF-NE Fall Meeting, numerous concerns have been expressed questioning its fair application to the broadest number of boats and configurations. Therefore,  the Executive Board and Handicap Committee have accepted their obligation to ensure equity for all competitors, and in order to allow additional research and further study, decided to delay the application of the formula in the 2015 season.
