PHRF New England Spring Meeting

Commodore Doyle Marchant opened the meeting at 7:00 PM with a review of the current membership activity and recognition of people who contribute to the success of PHRF-NE

Bump Wilcox, treasurer, talked about developing more precise handicap terms used in applying handicaps to boats, the need for transparence in the handicap process and a review of credits used in the handicap process and the need for race organizers to insist on a valid 2017 handicap.

Blake Jackson, reviewed the development of the new PHRF-NE web site upgrading the old site after 7 years to make it mobile friendly in support of the many new smart phones and tablets now in use and to make the make the use of the site easier for our membership.

Walter Murphy, Secretary discussed the reports generated by Google showing the monthly activity on the web site monthly from the PHRF organizations across the world. Click HERE for more details. Also discussed was the use of the Printer Friendly report capability available on the Valid List and the ability to create reports using Excel Software.
